I agree with most of your remarks. the numbers dont seem to fit, but because people are making the wrong maths: considering the same number of students per house and considering the same number of students of every year. the two factors you showed explains it

Great reviews. The movie of Half-Blood Prince was much maligned by some fans, but now I have a benchmark for “show, don’t tell”: Tom Felton’s performance as Draco. He doesn’t have that many spoken lines but nobody forgets him.

I’d recommend this, it really goes in depth into the Harry-Ginny relationship, as well as the subtle clues leading it. And the best part is that it was written before Half Blood Prince
